CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
OPEN TRIPLES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The Open Triples was played last Thursday, 6 February.
- Congratulations to Inez McCabe, John McCabe, and Kent Davey on their win against Wilma Hill, Dianne Davey and Bruce White
- Congratulations to Don Morelli, Gladice Walton, and Sandie Paterson on their win against John Moody, David Gamble, and Kathie Brown
The following teams had a bye:
- N Allsopp, I Edwards, G Kerr
- J Davies, B Aumann, A Aumann
The 2nd round of the Open Triples was scheduled to be played next Monday 17 February. This is no longer possible, and we will advise Club members of the new date when it is available.
The final of this competition will be moved from March 31 to an earlier date, which will be decided when the finalists have been determined.
OPEN FOURS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The first round of the Open Fours was played on Monday 10 February.
- Congratulation to Gail Kerr, Gavin Wall, John Moody and David Gamble on their win against Kent Davey, Dianne Davey, Inez McCabe and John McCabe
- Congratulations to Neil Allsopp, Bruce Aumann, John Davies and Peter Beasley on their win against Don Morelli, Rhonda Allsopp, Kathie Brown and Alice Aumann
These matches were played in good spirits, and the final result in both matches was very close.
We will advise Club members of the date for the final of the Open Fours.
