2021 Handicap Matchplay Championship Update

Reminder: It is the responsibility of each qualifier to mutually arrange and complete all matches before or on the specified date.  If a dispute arises it must be brought to the attention of the Golf Committee (via Golf Shop staff), whose decision is final.

Restrictions Lifted

In conjunction with the Government announcement today we provide the following update:

• Gardiners Run will re-open Friday 11^th June at 6.30am with restrictions in place as per the email sent earlier today from the Golf Captain.
• Country Club will re-open Friday 11^th June as follows:

• • The clubhouse will open for administration services at 11am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, then from Tuesday 14^th will open at the normal opening time of 9am.
  • The bistro will open for lunch at 12 midday and dinner will be held in 2 sittings 5.30pm and 7.30pm with limits of 50 for each sitting.  Please call the club during office hours to make a booking.
  • The sportsbar will open at 11am – with limited numbers.
  • The Gaming Room with remain closed.
  • Bowls and Tennis will re-open on Monday for social play only – no competition play is permitted.  Members will need to call the Country Club during office hours to make a booking for sport.
  • Takeaway will continue to operate for pick up and home delivery from 4.30 – 7.30 each night.

We are hopeful for further lifting of restrictions at 11.59pm Thursday 17^th June and will update members as information becomes available,

While it is frustrating that we cannot fully open yet, we are thankful to our members for doing the right thing and giving us all the best chance of seeing restrictions ease further next week. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the club in greater numbers in the near future.
